Keep the sole on the pedal.
If you ride a fixed gear on platform pedals, the job is simple: the foot stays put through a skid, a track start, and the last mile of a shift. Gearhold sews that job in Tunnel Hill, Georgia—nylon loops, a stainless buckle, no plastic. These are not clipless pedals and they are not a toy toe-clip. They are foot retention for track cranks, brakeless commutes, messenger bags, and anyone who would rather lace a strap than clip in.
One strap.
Ten thousand
pulls.
The GH-1 is a doubled loop of two-ply nylon that laces any platform pedal in under a minute and never thinks about it again. No plastic. No rivets that walk. Nothing to loosen at 130 rpm.
Four straps, one pedal, four small parts.
The catalogue is nine SKUs on purpose. Pedal straps start at $34 USD a pair (Track Lite) and run through the GH-1 at $42 USD, GH-2 Deep at $48 USD, and Courier at $52 USD. Strap-ready GH-P1 platform pedals are $68 USD a pair. Street cog, chain tensioners, shim kit, and strap wax cover the rest from $9 USD. Prices are USD, per pair where marked, and they match the list on Pricing.

A pair is priced here in USD. A card is not taken here. Online payment is not available on fixedgearstraps.com. Browse the catalogue, run the on-device estimator if you want rough numbers, then email hello@fixedgearstraps.com or quotes@fixedgearstraps.com, or call +1 (762) 760-1179, Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–18:00 ET. The estimator never leaves the browser. A written quote from the bench is what you pay against, and that quote holds 14 days.
After we confirm the order and take payment, stock colorways leave Tunnel Hill within 24 hours, Tuesday through Saturday. Custom woven labels run about three weeks. Walk-ins can knock at 104 S Cherry St.
Sewn thirty miles from the nearest velodrome.
Gearhold started as a repair bench inside a Chattanooga bike co-op, restitching straps that kept failing riders. We moved one town south, bought Ruth, our 1978 bar-tack machine, and started sewing our own.
One bench.
Your whole
fleet.
Volume from ten pairs.
Outfit a courier fleet, a track squad or a shop wall. Crew (10–49) is $38 USD a GH-1 pair, Squad (50–99) is $34 USD, Fleet (100+) is $31 USD. Mixed SKUs add up to one rung. Custom woven labels are free over 50 pairs. Email or call for a written quote; nothing is charged on this page.
